We’ve all been there. Wanting something nutritious and delicious as well as satisfying so that you don’t feel hungry again 2 hours later. Well how about a loaded salad that is loaded Cobb style. Add some meat, some cheese, some eggs, some bacon…kind of sounds like breakfast doesn’t it? But this salad is so much more and filling too. Use a precooked rotisserie chicken meat for a phenomenal addition to the salad.
Ingredients:
- 4 Hard-boiled Eggs $0.62
- 4 Slices Pre-cooked Bacon $0.85
- 1 Head Iceberg Lettuce $0.99
- 2 Avocados, sliced and chopped $1.98
- 4 oz. Monterrey Jack Cheese $1.00
- 2 Tbsp Salad Dressing $0.29
- 8 oz Diced Chicken $5.20
Total: $10.91

Preparation:
- Prepare the hard boiled eggs – boil in hot water for 15 minutes, place in an ice bath to cool down and peel the eggs.
- Cook the bacon, be sure to pat dry with paper towels to reduce the grease.
- Chop and wash lettuce using a salad spinner. Dry the lettuce and place in a bowl.
- Slice the cheese and add to the top of the lettuce in one section.
- Slice up the precooked chicken and add to the top of the lettuce in one section
- Chop up the bacon and add to the top of the lettuce in one section
- Chop up the hard boiled egg and add to the top of the lettuce in one section
- Chop up the avocado and add to the top of the lettuce in one section.
- Serve with salad dressing.
