How to Substitute Honey for Sugar When You Make Lemonade.

Lemonade is that deliciously sweet and tart summer refresher on those hot days during the summer. The only problem is the amount of sugar that gets used is not very good for ones health. Instead of sugar, what will happen when you try to use honey instead? It may take some getting used to, but it’s not out of the question.

Ingredients:

  • 8 Meyer Lemons $5.99
  • 1/2 Cup Honey $1.41
  • 1 Cup Hot Water Free
  • 3 Cups Water Free
  • 2 Cups Ice (to cool) Free

Preparation:

  1. Juice the lemons to get about 1 cup of lemon juice
  2. In a pitcher, combine the ½ cup of honey with 1 cup of hot water and stir till mixed well
  3. Add 3 cups of water to cool the mixture
  4. Add 1 Cup of lemon juice
  5. Add ice to cool the lemon juice to your liking
