Are you tired of getting freezer burn on your meat and veggies that you put in the freezer using Ziploc bags or the “free” plastic bags you get from the grocery store? Take a look at these bags from OutOfAIr.com combined with a vacuum sealer so that you can vacuum seal anything you get from the store to have it last longer in freezer.
The Video Review
I am fairly impressed with these bags and as Happy Healthy Wife says, they look professionally done when looking at the vacuum sealed meat. And naturally, they are made with FDA-approved food-safe plastic and are BPA free.
The pint size works great for individual 1 inch thick New York steaks or anything smaller than that for freezing individual items, or dropping them into a sous vide. When paired with a vacuum sealer, it doesn’t get any easier than that. And when you get 100 per pack, that’s a long time before you will need to get more.
But if you are looking for larger bags, like say you want to store 6 or so chicken thighs together since you’re going to use them all at the same time, they’ve got those too. They even have one that can be torn open and then resealed using a zipper close.
And if you are looking for custom sizeable bags, then look no further than to buy one of their rolls. Personally I found that the rolls that come in a box with a cutter to be very convenient. No need for scissors as the cutter will slice the bag at the desired length you need.
So if you are looking to get sealing bags that are more cost efficient than other brands that will work with any sealer, give OutOfAir.com bags a try.
