Have you heard of Pepe’s? Well if you’re in the Los Angeles area, do yourself a favor and make it a plan to stop by and try one of the best Mexican restaurants in the area. Pepe’s is a local favorite and I took the time to stop by and give you an overview of the best breakfast burrito in the area.
The Video Review
I’ll admit that the only thing I’ve gotten at Pepe’s is their burritos, but who can blame you, just look at the size of the burrito. It’s big and it might be $10-$12 in price, but that works well since this burrito is big enough for 2 meals.
I have also enjoyed their California burrito (comes with guacamole, salsa and French fries inside with your choice of meat) and it’s another good option, but I love a good breakfast burrito, and the one from Pepe’s is two breakfasts in one wrap.
The eggs, salsa, sausage, potatoes, refried beans all work together to provide a very hearty and tasty meal. Add some salsa if you want to turn the heat up a notch or two or not if you enjoy the flavor meld on its own.
The location I visited currently was drive-thru only as they are remodeling the dining area, but that just gives you a chance to drive to a nearby park and enjoy a picnic atmosphere.
