Don’t Buy From the Store When a Spectacular, Homemade 7-Layer Dip Is Fresh and Easy

Four simple ingredients from the store, store in the refrigerator overnight and cut the next day for a delectable snack or take them to a potluck and impress your friends. They are quite tasty and simple to make. Prepare for no leftovers.

Ingredients:

  • 12 ounces refried beans or bean dip
  • 3 ripe California avocados, mashed
  • 1 tablespoon lime juice
  • 1 cup sour cream
  • 1/4 cup mayonnaise
  • 1 package of taco season mix (1¼ ounces)
  • 1 bunch green onions, chopped
  • 3 medium tomatoes, chopped
  • 1 can sliced black olives (about 2 ounces)
  • 1 package of cheddar cheese (8 ounces), shredded
  • 2 Bags of Tortilla Chips

Preparation:

  1. In a 9×13” casserole dish: spread bean dip; layer mashed avocados over the bean dip and sprinkle with lemon juice. 
  2. Mix sour cream, mayonnaise and taco seasoning mix, and then spread over avocados. 
  3. Layer on the shredded cheddar cheese for the fourth layer.
  4. Chop green onions and tomatoes for the fifth and sixth layers. 
  5. Spread olives on top.
  6. All you need now are chips to dip.
