Here is the tried and true recipe that my family loves. Once the meat is ready, you can add your own BBQ sauce or keep it dry and make the sandwich of your dreams.
Ingredients:
- 3 lbs Pork Shoulder $5.97
- 1 Tbsp Chili Powder $0.19
- 1 Tbsp Brown Sugar $0.04
- 1 Tbsp Salt $0.12
- 1/2 Green Cabbage, thinly sliced (3 cups) $0.25
- 1/2 Cup Mayonnaise $0.41
- 2 Tbsp Honey $0.25
- 1/2 tsp Pepper $0.05
- 1 Tbsp BBQ Sauce $0.17
- 8 Hamburger Buns $2.69

Preparation:
- In a small bowl, mix chili powder, brown sugar and salt. Cover pork shoulder with spice mixture. Place in Crock Pot and cook on low for 6 to 8 hours.
