Are you interested in having hot fresh made soy milk in your own home like us? We love a good soy milk and it doesn’t get any better than making it naturally with just soy beans and water blended and heated till the soy beans take on a milky flavor and consistency. There are many products on the market that claim to make soy milk and other plant based milks, so how do you think one of the cheaper models from Tayama will fare?
The Video Review
This Tayama does a very nice job creating soy milk from soybeans and water. It comes with a strainer, but you might want to buy a finer meshed strainer if you like your soy milk more liquidy and less thick.
We like the soy milk we make with the Tayama as we don’t add sugar or any preservatives that you would find in the local markets.
I have tried both the soaked bean method and the dry bean method and though both produce a good soy milk, the dry bean program leaves a lot more pulp and truly doesn’t taste as good as the soaked bean program. It’s not hard to soak the beans, just put them in water the night before and they will be ready in the morning for the soaked bean program.
All in all, the Tayama is a great soy milk maker especially for the price that it is offered for.
