Do Your Beef Ribs Fall Off The Bone As Easily As They Do In This Recipe?

Beef Ribs. That tough, fatty meat right near the bone can be some of the tastiest and most tender beef you can have as long as it is cooked right. And this recipe fits the bill.

Ingredients:

  • 1 Rack Beef Ribs $10.48
  • 1 Tbsp Salt $0.12
  • 1 Tbsp Pepper $0.29
  • 4 Cloves Garlic, minced $0.11
  • 4 Tbsp Butter $0.46

Preparation:

  1. Pull the ribs out of the refrigerator, and let come to room temperature. (About 1 hour)
  2. Preheat oven to 275°
  3. Line a baking sheet/roasting pan with foil
  4. Rip out a sheet of foil and place the ribs on top. bone side down.
  5. Sprinkle salt, pepper and garlic over the ribs. 
  6. Take another sheet of aluminum foil cover the top of the ribs leaving not gaps between the two foil layers. 
  7. Place rib packet onto foil lined tray and bake for 3 hours.  
  8. Open the top layer of foil and add butter or your favorite BBQ sauce to the top of the ribs. Replace the foil and cook the ribs until they are 200° for fall-off-the-bone tender, about 1 more hour. 
  9. After the hour, pull the ribs out and let rest for about 20 minutes.
