There are many recipes that call for fresh milk like pancake batter, muffins, biscuits, cakes, cream soups and the like. But if you are not a family that often eats cereal or drinks milk, then you might find that by the time you’re ready to use the milk in your refrigerator, it’s spoiled.
It’s also not easy to just buy 1 cup of milk that a recipe calls for, so we have searched for and found a great alternative to throwing out all that spoiled milk: milk powder.
All you need to do is to pour 1/3 cup of milk powder into a cup, add 1 cup of warm or boiling water, and stir till you have a creamy cup of milk without the lumps. I say, for my money, it tastes even better than the milk we get at the grocery store.
